My clients place immense trust in me; they literally give me the keys to their house. So, my first priority is to safe-guard their assets. Then, I have to consider how to optimize them.

Property is about aspirations, how and where we wish to live, expanding one's family, moving interstate, starting a new career, planning for retirement. And while price is important, so is timing, renovation, vacant versus tenanted. There are so many ways to deal with property.

This year, I have introduced the 'Better Outcomes' initiative: bringing proven Project Management strategies to real estate. For example, should you renovate before selling? This can be determined empirically through cost-based analysis: if the value you add to a property by painting it is greater than the cost of painting, then you paint it. And, if my client is too busy to undertake this, I manage it for them. That is my job, that is real estate, helping my clients achieve better outcomes.
